I enjoyed the Females mostly, I think beause they are lighter and a little more aggressive. Much FASTER entertainment, don't hear many females going over 3 hrs. LOL!!!
As a racer i don't like to own any females. Why they are shown less then males is obvious but it certainly has nothing to do with their qualities compared to males.
I think they're shown less than males simply because people are retarded. God forbid someone doesn't have the sense to keep up with heat cycles and time the appropriate times to open females up. Oh the horror!!

I don't think, as a whole, one sex is more aggressive than another. I think a lot is dependent on what kind of dogs you have and the decisions you make breeding wise.
How difficult can that be Frostypaws? But that still rules them out 2 periods each year. And you always have to start at least 8 weeks before the next heat. That might not be the good time for your bitch if you want to give her a little more time to rest from her last show. Or a holiday or any other reason u can think of. Not a big deal but with a male you could have decided to start one month later and with a female you have to wait untill her heat is over.
Also i find its a struggle with opponents. When yours is ready, u might find your opponent in the knot with heat. It all costs time. Beside that some(many) are rather kept or saved as brood, having or had a litter.
So thats why they are shown less. And when you are forced to run small yards with no possibilities to breed its a better choice for me to feed males.

Really Nut? It hasn't ruled out any periods for me over the years as I find out what females will or won't do while in heat. So people are worried about something that POTENTIALLY means nothing, but since it's entirely too difficult to see what a bitch does in heat, there are 2 periods a year (maybe depending on the female) that you can't do anything. I don't care if the opponent is in heat or not. That's what forfeits are for.
I do care about opponents since most are not going to put the forfeit if their bitch is coming in heat. Females are shown less then males, because people are "retarded" and/or for the reasons i mentioned, whatever makes one happy. I chose males cause its easier in my situation, simple as that.
Most people don't have any idea when their bitch is coming into heat as they don't keep up with it. That's the main reason you hear so many people paying FF due to their bitch coming in heat during a keep. Couple that with the reality that 99% of the owners never find out what their female will or will not do in heat, and you have my reason for saying people are retarded or lazy if that's a better word. I've never had any more, or less, trouble finding something than a female than a male. Neither has anyone else doing females on any type of regular basis.
