    R.I.P.

It is with a heavy heart that i announce the passing of a very close friend of mine , she was a true warrior in every way. her death was a result of lack of ability on my part to identify and treat a illness for which i have not had the opportunity to witness before ( it will never happen again). She handled this situation like all others in her life straight on, no turns, and game till the end . She will be missed dearly and as a result of her passing I have truly lost a dear and close friend, one that can not be replaced.

Some medication can be hard to obtain but for not having berenil theres is no excuse since its so simple to legaly order.

    Good luck
Sorry for your loss though. We all make mistakes.

The only way babesia could wipe out "an entire yard" would be if the owner was way beyond stupid ...

The truth is, no one should be caught "unaware" now, in this day and age, with all the information that's out there. Period.

However, if a person still gets caught ignorant, and with their pants down, ONCE (as is what happened here), they will never forget the symptoms (or experience) again ...

This is true, inevitably it's the good ones, the irreplaceable ones, the favorite ones that die. The cur rolldog lives no matter what. It's a hard lesson to learn. My deepest sympathies. I'm sure you'll be better prepared next time
