Hope this is posted in the right place since I'm looking for thoughts of others about this breeding or crosses they may know of like this.I can move it if it's in the wrong place if need be I got with mrgreenwood a few weeks back to make this happen. I like the breeding.
I like the sire to this breeding. The reason is b/c he's doubled up on Rusty who is off of Heavy. Heavy is off of Toro x Joan. Toro was a great individual dog himself, but Joan, few know this, but she was one bad ass son of a bitch. Her only loss was a result of a rub and those who know, KNOW this. It caused her some neurological issues and was never the same after that match. However, she pretty much blew through all of her competition until then. She's off of the Snort dog who was a 2xw and produced some incredible dogs with the best being Melonhead. Joan was a grand daughter to Selma who went almost 3 hours with no out of holds or turns. She was extremely game and one of the better dogs of her era. So, with all of that being said, knowing the dogs behind your pups and seeing there is some very nice Eli based blood in the rest of it, I would say you have potential for a great dog.
Thanks for the info. The sir is from a yard in my circle and he is impressive to say the less. He is also from a line that I have had no hands on with before now so after looking into his background and watching him I decided to try to improve my line with him so Im hoping all will work out
Going by the pedigrees and the breeding. If you look at the back end of the pedigree in the 14th generation. The pups will be heavy bred around the Tudor's Dibo dog. If all is correct in the breeding's. The off spring of this mating should produce some dogs with a hard mouth. How pit smart and the pulling traits they will have. Will mostly be determined by the pit smarts and pulling traits of their two parents.
If there is truly a heavy Dibo influence behind these pups. The one draw back will be they could be slow maturing. Even if hot to go, will not be at their best till around 2 1/2 years old. Any serious and limited schooling should start around 2 years old. I never believed in rolling young dogs to hell and back just to see if they are deep game. Why you have cheap local dog show pulls. I hardly ever start working a dog before it hits the twocyr mark but if I do then its light work after 16 months old. Glad I'm getting some feed back n this breeding. I'll keep all of this in mine. Everyone seems to think good of it but are they any bad.

Would you wait till your child is 18 years old before exercising him, if you expected him to be an athlete?
Apply the same unbelievably-clueless belief system to your dogs, and you'll GET a clue that that is as bad a belief system as is possible to have
