    ill see what i can do about getting her into the vet, ill keep you updated. my fear is that as soon as i mention pregnancy theyre going to want to bring out the x rays and pile the bills up...just to tell me she doesnt have pups and send me home with some mox or keflex

    You're in control. You tell them what you want: pap smear/cytology, nothing more.
