I always used O'Brien's. Never tried Bulldog Supply.
I have heard nothing but good things about Bulldog Supply padded collars so far.And I also heard they were very tough so I am going to try 4 or 5 to start out with see how they do..Little pricey but if they make the dogs a little more comfortable and are tough as people say I don't mind spending the money.
I have a dog now on a padded collar from Bulldog Supply Company that's at LEAST 10 years old. You could never look at this collar and guess it's that old.
I've got Valhoma "Big Dog" padded collars. LJ designed them and sold them years ago. Still have a few new ones I've yet to use. They are 3 or 4 ply, my complaint about this particular padded collar is they get really hard. Washing them helps, but eventually the threading doesn't hold the material. They also have a velcro strip on the end to hold the excess snug past the keeper, which fails eventually.
I've noticed Bulldog Supply uses a different padding, I am also thinking of trying them.
Any of these same issues I described with the BS collars?

Never had a BS collar with a velcro strip. I don't particularly like that as it's a failure sooner than later. I've never had any issues with my BS collars except age.
Buddy of mine gave me some padded collars I love them.. Had some Wade Davis seatbelt collars I'll never use those things again! Irritated the hell outta my dogs necks, I should've known being that a seatbelt will make my neck uncomfortable on long trips.. I still have some unused puppy seatbelt collars I'll gladly give them things away
there is a new thing here called biothane collars , anyone has experience with it
