during keep she came in season, "someone`s son was feeding and cleaning the keep brooder, and he didn't latch the door well ..she got out and got hung up. rest of the story is in the SBM
I like the sbm but the owner/editor could have done a better job interviewing the dog of the years owner, along with the other people that were involved with gr ch tittre earlier in his career.
I honestly think the SPORTING DOG JOURNAL is the most professionally-put-together dog magazine I have ever seen.
It's hard to run a mag these days, so I am sure it suffers from most people NOT wanting to contribute, but the guy does a helluva job IMO.

What an unfortunate accident. Amazing anyone other than the trainer be allowed to clean/feed a working dog.
I would hope this accident was not disclosed to the trainer because the show still went on. Pretty remarkable the bitch survived as well as her pups, I'm assuming....
