I'm in no way knocking nor discrediting Gr Ch Grip but I'm just curious to know if the fraternity is aware of the age of the 8XW that he beat?!?...8....that's right 8!!! And my next question is how does Gr Ch Patty Cake gets female dog of the year when she hasn't been shown in 2 years!?!

This bitch made Champ in less than a year against top comp and make champ against a Bad Ass 4XW going for Gr Champ in less than an hour...sorta make you scratch your head!

Every year for the month of December we put up a tread "The Pitbull Bible DOY and BOY" and the members put forward they're nominations and reasons for nomination, we debate it for the month, get all the particulars out in the open then for the first week in January we turn the tread into a Poll and vote.

I think before long the fraternity will be more interested in the pbb DOY than any other.

I have to disagree with you Jack on a 4xw beating an 8xw being a "so-so" accomplishment.

That's one helluva great accomplishment and It deserves a huge nod!!

But it doesn't compare to what GR CH Titere accomplished. That is truly an exceptional feat, one that could be compared the the Triple Crown of horse racing.

Now back to the Bible's DOY, if GR CH Titere can make ROM on top of what's he's done....all I can say is WOW!!!

If jack uses his way of thinking for picking doy imo it'll be way more creditable than the sdj. For the life of me I can't understand how a dog can be even considered if it hasn't raced in that calendar year. This isn't the first time either, when it happened before he got so much backlash he promptly removed the dog

I really don't know what this guy was thinking, nor why. I believe he made his decision for many reasons, all of them wrong.

That really is a great idea about a PBB DOY "round table" effort. We can take it to the next level by making it a result of community participation.

For example, say I create a thread DOY 2015, beginning of this December, and we all list possible Candidates that come to mind. We argue the pros and cons, etc. Then, after (say) 20 Days of debate, I post a POLL up and let it be a Community Vote for DOY, that way it is a general consensus amongst ALL, after ALL have heard the pros/cons of each dog.

Then, after it's done, I can create an Article for the Database honoring each community-selected DOY, plus listing the Honorable Mentions, giving the Candidates ALL their credit as we definitely feel they deserve a salute for their being considered as well.

That sounds like the best idea for DOY consideration ever
