POR for males - 15 points, 1 point for every win plus 1 bonus point for CH and 2 bonus points for GR CH.
POR for females - 10 points, 1 point for every win plus 1 bonus point for CH and 2 bonus points for GR CH.

saw this on another board and wonder if this is the original from the mag

"POR TITLE COME FROM USA FROM ,,YOUR FRIEND AND MINE" (POR-PRODUCER OF RECORD)

THIS IS OGINIRAL RULES BRO,FIND OLD MAGAZINES-JOURNALS AND LOOK RULES.

    PRODUCER OF RECORD

    MALE 15 points

    FEMALE 10 points

The Producer of Record (POR) is a title which was set up to reflect the true nature of a dogs ability to produce. A great producer does one thing, and that is produce bulldogs consistently. It is the sole duty of the POR title to reflect the genetic ability of these bulldogs.

These bulldogs are found and reflected upon in many ways, what the POR does, is unique. All aspect and accomplishments of their offspring, is weighed and then measured next to consistency. The POR system is very simple, and direct.

All bulldogs will have their offspring's accomplishments listed in this fashion, with no exceptions.

    (during a show)

A dog that curs............ -3.0 points

A dog picked up game....... 1.0 point

    1st win.................... 1.0 point

    2nd win.................... 2.0 points

    3rd win.................... 3.0 points

    4th win.................... 4.0 points

5th win or more............ 5.0 points

Example.... A dog who has won 2, and picked up game on its 3rd would receive 1.0 point for its 1st, 2.0 points for its 2nd, and 1.0 point for being picked up game. Total = 4 points for its sire and dam.

    (producing producers)

:!: :!: :!: Every dog that produces a POR, they are to receive 6.0 points.

Example.... A dog has produced 2 POR dogs, they are to receive 12.0 points. :!: :!: :!:

    OVERALL

Each point will only account for 2 dogs, 1.0 point = 2 offspring. (if a dog has 20 points, they can have no more than 40 offspring. If a dog has 50 points, they can have no more than 100 offspring)

Any dog who does not have enough points to account for its offspring, does not deserve the POR title.

Example.... A bitch that has 10.0 points, and 20 or less offspring, she has reached the POR title. If the same bitch has 21 offspring and only 10.0 points, she is not POR.

There is no difference in the scoring for males and females, all are held to the same standard, and must not exceed the points to offspring ratio."

    no 1 uses that

A dog picked up game....... 1.0 point
    sounds ridiculous

A dog that curs............ -3.0 points
this too, who's going to decide whether the dog still could go in deep waters?

i do would like a system where producing records would be connected with ammount of produced dogs. but even on such system people are going to lie about size and amount of litters. very hard to check facts on above post.

If dogmen had the ability to do things intelligently here, and if people (who knew) could accurately enter-in the data, then The Pit Bull Bible Online APBT Database would offer the best way in which to determine a mean quotient for any dog's ability to produce.

We have at our fingertips the ability to add # of breedings, # of pups, # of wins/losses, Champions, etc. ... and all of this data could be crunched together to provide the most meaningful statistics possible on any dog's ability to produce. Therefore, the dog who was bred 100x could be measured quaLItatively against the dog that was only bred 15x, by getting a mean quotient (percentage success rate) per-pup produced.

The trouble is, too many imbeciles canNOT enter in dogs correctly ... they do NOT bother to put in all pertinent info ... or they enter-in duplicate data, etc. ... on top of which nobody knows the entire breeding history/pup history of all the dogs that have been bred since antiquity. The only thing we as members here can do, is start where we stand, and enter in ALL the breedings we've done, and are doing NOW, all the pups, etc., and realize that in 20 years no one will care about yesterday's dogs anymore, but that the dogs we have control of TODAY can all be quantified accurately ... IF we each take the time today (and every day) to enter those numbers in correctly.

Ultimately, the concepts of POR/ROM are efforts to give credit to producers ... however, when analyzed under the microscope (and with no significance given to #of breedings, etc.) these systems are laughable jokes compared to our ability here to crunch all the numbers that this database provides. I suggest the viewer who doesn't know what I am talking about review the video Bulldog Statistics: Why We Rock to understand how much more sophisticated our bulldog production analysis/system has the potential to be ... and why I get so effing pissed at retards who cannot enter in data here correctly. (They fuck up everything.)

So before anyone questions "me" for giving the immediate boot to idiots who enter bad data here ... they ought to remember that 1) everyone gets an email asking them to PLEASE watch the videos first, 2) everyone who clicks on the Pedigrees tab gets to see in all red letters another reminder NOT to enter in any dogs until they watch the videos first, and 3) that when these fucking idiots just enter-in a bunch of dogs/duplicates anyway, they destroy this database's greatest feature, ITS STATISTICAL ABILITIES, in the process ... for all of the good, conscientious members who DO watch the videos, and who DO take the time to enter-in dogs correctly.

So pardon me if I don't have too much patience for idiots who don't bother to read/follow my instructions and cull them immediately

    Jack
