Is it an actual breeding or a planned breeding?

  3. #3
This is a actual breeding about to take place any day now

Please understand that a breeding "about to take place" is NOT an actual breeding; it's still a theoretical breeding

Only use the breeding database for breedings that have actually happened (meaning the stick was actually made).

Any other breeding, even the breeding you "intend to do tomorrow" belongs in the Test Breeding section, which does NOT actually store data.

We insist on exactness here, because you can always change your mind at the last minute.

    Thank you,

    Jack

I failed to realize this until I already made the ped and could'nt delete it. Sorry about that, I now know.

Do you have any insight on this breeding? Just would like to read your opinion

I really like King Kong's looks: took after his mama, which I think is the better dog in his pedigree (not to mention a full-brother to the Ace Head Dog PonchoBack).

I'd have to see both parents live, of course, but (not having done so) Angry Annie certainly is well-bred ... being 3/4 Ch Mr. Serious, with a nice 1/4-out. Ch Mr. Serious is not only one of the finest all-around BULLdogs "I've" ever bred ... he is one of the finest dogs that anyone on Planet Earth has ever bred ... Champion, producer of Champions and Grand Champions ... with an unblemished 22-0 production record and was only bred 5-6x before he lost his life.

So it has a chance to be a really nice breeding

King Kong definitely took after his mama. I was told he is a tremendous face dog that never has been put behind. He annihilates everything, pushing 4lbs made a 2xw look like shit in 20min. Had him looking for an exit. His littermate brother lost in a war in 3:45. I plan on getting a female out of this and breeding it to Ponchoback II to start my yard off.

I read your article on breeding like 5x's and paid attention to the original blend of ch hammer/hollingsworth to get smart, athletic, fast, game, head/face dogs. I figure the touch of Mr. Serious should give me some size and mouth along with the Big Boom dog(almost pure poncho x kitana breeding).

    Wow, sounds fantastic.

What is the name of the brother, and do you (or can Kilo) get a photo of him?

He deserves to be in the database, as well as the winner.

See if you can get the photos of those dogs, and the ped of the winner, I would appreciate that.

Good to hear that you're absorbing the info ... I am one of the few breeders, if any, who has kept an unbroken string of winners/Champions dating all the way back to the first two dogs I bred ... spanning more than 20 years, and producing Champions with 6-gen of my (or mostly my) breedings.

I don't "think" ... I know that these principles work

If you follow the patterns, advise, and standards, you can breed your own family, successfully (which is the key!), for as long as you are alive.

A lot of people breed "pure families" that can't do anything, which is not what you want. All families will produce some bad eggs, but you have to keep exact standards in mind to make your produced dogs repeatedly and consistently stand the test of time.

That said, I never liked Big Boom. From what I understand, he was not a head dog and he didn't have any ability. He also doesn't look long-winded to me with that snub-nose.

But Big Boom does have good dogs behind him, though, so he may well produce, especially when bred to a bitch the quality and breeding of Gorilla Girl ... as King Kong and his brother apparently prove

This is king kong's brother ped http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum...p?dog_id=48974 Both there pix are on the peds online pedigrees.

I also made not of that same info on big boom but i remember you saying that hero was your favorite out of the poncho x kitana breeding. Nala was a slick face dog but out of a litter of rough hard mouth dogs with no defense but she end up getting the face style of the poncho dogs. Mister was in my area and was a great dog from all accounts. I know he was a heavy mouth dog. So by breeding big boom to gorilla girl gave the silver back dogs some size and mouth making a complete dog that fit the vise grip standards in king kong. Thats why I would take a female off of this breeding to Ponchoback II or a silverback stud that fits the vise grip standard

Really? You ask me all these questions, that I take the time to answer, but when I ask "you" for a pic ... you say, "It's over there, go fetch."?

    I will remember that.
