history is fine but i would like to deal with recent history and the present.

I always see ads for sperm off of GR CH Vengeance in the SDJ. I have read stories claiming that Vengeance and that Midnight blood in general is actually down from Mayfields Pit General. I believe I read this in an article by Big D from Limey Kennels. I guess some believe Indian Sonny was the one that ended up with Pit General when he was stolen. I suppose this theory could be supported by the way these dogs look, thick boned black dogs with red eyes. IDK, just a story I read. Anyways that is why Limey, who does much of his breeding based on phenotype, has used this blood as an out. I think I have also seen some ads in the Gazette that was line bred Jessie Rod blood. I hope that helps a little.
