    Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy

Has any of the members ever dealt with this diseas, I've got a 19 month old dog that popped a nail off the right front foot last week, then another on the rear left foot yesterday. I've been online doing research on this disease, he shows all the posative symptoms of this rare disease. The only way I've found to properly diognose this disease is to have a toe cut off and a biopsy done. If anyone has dealt with this and can give advice or has a story of there personal outcome, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.

Interesting disease, I found this study you might find helpful if you haven seen it already.

Looks like a diet rich in Omega 3 fatty acids is the fix for this, although no guarantees your dog won't relapse.

    Good luck,

Great find S_B! It's definitely worth a try, compared to any alternatives that I've come up with, the fish oil looks like the best route to take.
    Thanks.
