Opinions on the Bagman as an example of modern OFRN?

My opinion is you can't really have a valid opinion on a dog unless you see it perform yourself. You are entitled to your opinion, but your opinion means nothing to me unless you've seen the dog perform, and have ample recent activity to compare it to. I respect Dick Stratton, but his opinion on a dog of Chico's holds zero weight for me. Chico's opinion on his own dogs hold zero weight for me as he generalizes all of his dogs as the greatest in the world, etc. People that have shown dogs with Chico, and against Chico, are the opinions I would tend to believe as long as they reside strictly around the dogs themselves as Chico himself tends to rub people the wrong way.
Essentially, any dog that looks like an OFRN could be associated with that strain from what Dick says, and I'm not quite sure I agree with that. And if they have other colorations, then a great many dogs alive today could be associated with the strain. That's tantamount to all dogs being Colby dogs which always makes me roll my eyes.
I agree with you on Chico, not a class act. Just attacked me personally on FB for no reason. I was just interested on Stratton's opinion on the Bagman. The way he writes it, seems like he has watched the Bagman go or at the very least spent some time with the dog.
You speak the truth Frosty paws
Most of the times those talking aren't even close to what you just said. Everyone has their opinions, I consider the source first, then apply your last sentence. That's usually a good measuring stick.
The Bagman's performing ability and accomplishments I can't speak on, but considering the source of the article I'd say there is legitimacy to him.
