Interesting topic online as someone posted a video of a wolverine killing a coyote and dragging it off. One guy says a wolverine can kill any breed of dog. Then without fail someone mentions bulldogs. Hence the topic of game bulldogs vs the wolverine is born. Thoughts?
I'll bite without seeing the video.
The difference would be the cur snapping of the coyote vs. the bulldog taking hold and where he took hold.
Odds are both lose.

Interesting topic Brickface. A quick answer for me would be.. I'm putting my faith in a well conditioned 40-50lb Bulldog that can bite. I'm talking about a true finisher, a body eating type dog that's mean and desires to kill. Not a fancy ear sucker that wants to dance.
No match for a bulldog imo. If one killed a wolf the wolf was probably aging or sickly, I just can't see that happening with a healthy wolf.
Wolverine's are bullies, intimidaters their fighting ability would be no contest to a good bulldog.

Man i've seen vids of terrier type dogs(not pit bulls) killing wolverines so i know a game dog would kill one.
Man that's what I was thinking, a good sized Jagd would probably fuck a wolverine up. Those things are more bullies than anything, they don't go in guns blazing like a terrier. I made this comment with my preference of the size of dog for the job based on the size of wolverines. On average they are 20-55lbs but a big male can be as big as 70lbs. I'll stick with my original post on this one! Lol
