Obrian's collars hold up the best for dogs on chains. Very durable collars. Just my take but I haven't experienced collars from all the mentioned suppliers. Just Stillwater an I was not satisfied with there products.

I like the single buckles myself.
But I do not have any issues with the chained dogs on Stillwater collars. I use to have a lot of the O'Brien collars. I had no issues with the O'Brien collars either. Both served me well. The Stillwater collars go on sale more often and the bundles make them cheaper.
Most of the time I just need 1 or 2 collars so a few of us will get together and buy the kennel pack. Works well.

I've used Stillwater for a long time with no problems.
I have used most on that list and Stillwater is my favorite.. Gary's collars (which I would rate #2) are very durable, will probably last longer than the dog wearing it, but they can be hard to work with due to the their stiffness. That gets aggravating when removing a hound from its chain daily for work.. Stillwater has proven to be extremely durable on a chain as well, but is easier to buckle and unbuckle than GH's collars. Stillwater's quality and great service puts them at the top of the list for me.
I'm hearing XDREAM also makes some good collars, any feedback?

I've used a number of different collars over the years, both nylon, seat belt nylon, and leather. Most are double ply thick and about 1 1/2 inch wide.
Anyone remember Acme Kennels? About 17 yrs ago they made 2 ply leather collars with rivets and not stitching so they were very strong and did not stretch or wear out. And they looked sharp too. I still have a black one and a burgundy one in 1 /12 inch wide 2 ply leather and even at 15+ yrs old both are in excellent condition. But Acme Kennels is long gone and not making collars any more.
The O'Brien's collars are good too, I have been happy with those. I heard that Wade Davis was making these collars for O'Brien's Supply, and he is a good collar maker. I have a few from him that were given to me some yrs ago and they are good strong well made collars.
I don't know if Wade Davis still makes collars but his web site is still up --

The Hurricane Kennels collars are excellent, strong yet soft on the dog's neck. Are they still making collars? Their web site is still up…
Common sense isn't so common these days.
Xdream are $20 each. I personally never tried them but I've always bought collars from Stillwater in the bundle package and have never been disappointed. Z
I'm fan of the Stillwater collars myself. They are well worth the money and the customer service is top notch. I've got one from him almost ten years ago and it still holding bulldogs in place now.
The same. I have one I bought from him in or around 2007 at a show in NC. It is still working for me just fine.
The kennel packs and the frequent sales, and the occasional discontinued colors make it a really good place to shop for collars.
At Tom's year before last I got a call from a buddy who could not make it and asked me to pick up some collars. It was later in the day. He got a variety pack. 4 pink ones on top of that.
Littermate brothers got a pink one and a red one. I felt bad for the little guy with the pink collar. You know the other dogs were making fun of him. LOL
