    GUM DAMAGE TOOTH PROBLEMS

    I have a bulldog with some gum damage from chewing on a toy or stick. The gum is torn and pulled up from the tooth a bit. Now 1/4" to 3/8" of the kanine near this is turning tan...any ideas on this? Is the tooth dying ?

    When there is trauma to a tooth it can turn opaque or pink. I have seen it correct and I have seen it stay this color. I don't believe there is anything you can do to correct this other than monitor the tooth.

    Far as the gum it should heal quickly with a topical spray like Vetricyn. Just keep their mouth clean and keep fresh water available.

    clean it twice a day tough cook water and put it in a syringe and flush flush flush
    smell it daily and hit him with some antibiotics
