I've recently began to travel to Japan and SE Asia. There are respectable camps out there with bulldogs? Would love to be able to get an exclusive interview with some dogmen from out there.

That would be great if you could pull it off. A great read.
My brother in law's brother lives near Rio. He moved there in the early 60's with the tobacco industry. Let's say, "He invested well".
I went there in the mid 90's and tied the family trip to the Fila Brasileiros. We travelled to Sau Paulo, on ehe had farms near there and two, it is the home of the Fila.
I saw a couple with pit bulls and when I tried to talk to them about the dogs I found out people are the same from all over the world, "He ain't from 'round chere". You can change the dialect but you can't change the language.
Set stuff up in advance. I can't imagine you can pop up as a stranger and talk dogs. LOL

Even though the sport is huge in East Asia it's still underground and unless you have a foot in the door, it will be hard to get someone to speak openly about it.
As it should be.....every else included.

Team Cro, are from Ecuador
There are others that have the blood that refer to themselves as for example Team Cro Spain etc etc and many of those branches compete on the world stage. As with anything, there will always be those that chose to "ride the coattails'' and use the name Team Cro to sell pups or to gain some measure of infamy within the sport to the novice or what have you, they bare no reflection on the true Team Cro and those branches that are true competitors in the sport.
>>>Congrats<<< to Team Cro this weekend with Ch CR7 and Ch Antrax (Antrax also won BIS) over Ch Guero in 45min and Ch Dany Boy in 29min >>>bien hecho<<< Los Compadres Convention Mexico
