I have never been a Ca. Jack fan but I think this was suppose to be a pedigree database and I think the mission was accomplished. I will give him props for that.
He kicked me off and Brickface made things right, even though, he had no obligation to do so. Again, props for that as well.
On the other hand the board itself, as a forum, has became boring to say the least. Maybe the board needed a character who is opinionated, mostly an ass, who was smarter than every one else to keep the shit stirred and the members posting. I am not sure. The posts were plentiful but closely moderated and it was cleaned up quickly/closed threads quickly,
The biggest difference is that this is a database first and foremost. The database would never work if there is unlimited access to add/change/delete/duplicate pedigrees.
Sometimes the colors and fonts are not the ones I would choose but it is not my little get together. I get that too.
I paid for peds last year trying to track down a guy I once knew. When it runs out, it runs out. But I will admit that forum is a lot more interesting.
They have public threats with people going to each other's houses, their mothers are fat and nasty, the members are queers and fags and complete unthinkable homosexual acts, they hate Trump, and the government, many ore moving to the Dominican Republic, all of them have dogs that pushed 6 pounds up hill and stopped a 2XW in a roll but never brought that dog out for real, and most important of all, they know how all the dogs are 'really bred'.
For me it is apples and oranges. This was designed to be a pedigree database with a forum on the side. The forum is boring but the database is indeed a database.
The other site is like 'dogs on reality TV'. For the most part anyway.
