I've always had a passing interest in Walter Komosinski and his line, I know they were known for being very game and there were rumors that they had English Bull Terrier outs. Ozzie Stevens had a lot of respect for Komosinski and ran some of his blood but to my knowledge no one is running it today crossed or otherwise. When Walter Komosinski's health started to go he had his entire yard euthanized so I'm sure that had a impact on it.

If you've read The Real History of the American Staffordshire Terrier by Wayne Brown, almost all APBT have bull terrier blood in them. Dibo has bull terrier blood in him. I highly recommend that book to learn more about the history.

I've seen that book on ebay and have been contemplating getting it but the seller is asking $175 U.S. plus $50 U.S. shipping and that will be a good bit more using my own currency. Still though, I may make an offer and hopefully the seller goes for it.

The Maverick/Six Bits cross was extremely popular in the 90's and produced some good ones but you don't find many people working with it today.

    True.

A buddy of mine had one named Galil which was out of a brother-sister breeding with Sonny Boy-Jett.

This dog was skull drug and should have been shown.

Lou once told me that his two favorite crosses were Colby x Heinzl then Colby x Eli. I think the old man knew a thing or two

Howard Ellis putting that Juicy Lucy bitch, a.k.a. Katen's Malibu, to Rod Kershner's Alligator dogs made straight bulldogs. But unfortunately, like anything else in the wrong hands, shit gets watered down and washed away over time.
