Thread: Raw Food Websites

  1. #31
    Hi all,

I'm new to the site but not new to the dogs.. I really like the fact that you guys support raw feedings. I've been feeding raw for many years. The dogs really thrive on it. Never had any food allergies or illness what so ever. Lots of good resources on here, I would like to add a few more that I've found helpful.

Dr. Karen Becker is real knowledgeable and supports a raw feed to the fullest. Here is a link to lots of her videos on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...y=karen+becker

I feed no veggies at all. I supplement with green sea products like see kelp and spirulina also add lots of oils ie. Fish and Coconut. Digestive enzymes and pre / pro biotics are good as well.

I saw this site mentioned - I use them, they are great: https://www.mypetcarnivore.com/ I also shop from here as well: http://greencuisine4pets.com/index.htm and http://www.primalpetfoods.com/. I give chicken gizzards and heats for treats.

Now that I have Patterdales it's much more cost effective than feeding a yard full of bull dogs.

Be careful with only just "ground beef" ... it is not a complete nutrition profile

ifeedraw.com is a good website. The guy breeds Presa Canarios and is a good guy to deal with. He also has YouTube and Instagram. Look him up. I feed his product and others.

I buy chicken backs by the case. Some weeks I buy leg quarters by the case. Some days I just walk by and toss them a few backs or a couple leg quarters. I have a bunch of chickens so the dogs get a lot of eggs. During hunting season deer meat and deer guts. I also buy ten pound bags of beef fat trimmings. Once or twice a week I make a stew of sorts with rice, beef scraps, dog food and rendered oil from beef fat.

barf.com usually has a rep in most areas and they are usually willing to do co-ops to buy in bulk.
