Well $800 is certainly enough to get a meat grinder. I've been doing a little research myself. From what I gather you need atleast 1HP but preferbly 1.5HP. I think that's enough to grind chicken bones and some turkey bones(mostly necks). Some of the brands I was looking at are Cabela's, Lem and Weston. You can see some of these in action on youtube. I'm not sure if $800 is enough to get you something that can grind beef bones. Hope this helps you with your search.

I would mostly be grinding chicken. Ive seen the Cabelas one...I was wondering if someone feeding a yard of dogs could validate a specific one for me...maybe someone is already doing what Im planning on doing. I want to grind my quarters, mix in other ingredients, individualy wrap, then freeze.
I havent looked on youtube yet, good idea!
This one does chicken bones with ease.

I like this one by Hobart. It has the grinder and mixer in one.. Plus it has a big hopper...

this is a smaller version, 1hp grinder from Torrey. Seems to be used for smaller jobs but do you think its built better than the Cabelas type...

That 1 1/2 hp looks like a solid choice.
