I only cropped one dog's ears and that was Red Angel's, who was my second dog. It looked good on her, but in hindsight I would have preferred her full-drop ears, which I personally love.

Leon did a nasty butcher job on Stormbringer's ears, which I was always pissed about. Stormy had real thick, nice natural ears that went forward and looked like a "baseball cap" ... and Leon's crude, uneven rendering of Stormy's ears ruined his appearance IMO. Stormy was such a powerful-looking dog that he was impressive anyway, but he looked far better with natural ears IMO.

Anyway, I would never crop any dog's ears again myself, as I think their natural ears look way better and add more personality to their expressions.

Thanks jack. I really like the natural look myself as well. I also feel like when people see a bulldog with cut ears they ASSume that that dog is being fought... Imo..

I dont care one way or the other. I think maybe it is in the colby book.
I would only crop if there was something wrong with the ears.
but i cant stand bat ears.
