I guess you can't share history with people on this forum without getting called out in PMs, lol.

I would loooove me some solid Tonka blood!
You got any pedigrees?
I have always liked these dogs, and wish Trinx had lived long enough for me to have done this breeding.
Jack
I've got some real nice Smith's Red Rock blood but not posted here in the pedigree database, or I would share. Got some that's heavy on the Red Rock stuff and I've got some mixed up with some of LG's stuff. Good dogs. Very good structure, athletic and smart.
Hope to see you put it up there, when you get a chance, as Red Rock was a brother to Anderson's Rose (and therefore an uncle to Lady In Red).
I wonder if anyone has interbred alot of Red Rock stuff with the LIR blood. Would be interesting ...
LIR blood???? Educate me.
I'll get them up on the database in a few weeks when I have much more time than I have now.
The one I feed right now is a grandson of Charlie who was a good one. He's off of Fozzy, who was a very solid dog as well. I'll breed this guy back to his grandmother, Tupelo Honey who is also, a very good dog.
The male I have right now is Chuy. He's very young, maybe a year old right now, and dispatched a good dog in a kennel accident. I don't put too much stock into things like that, but the power was very evident with what I found. I hate those situations, but it is part of owning these dogs some times. 18 years, I've only had two kennel accidents. BOTH were b/c of buckles breaking (default of design) on my collars. One in 98 and one this year.
Yes, Lady In Red's mama was a brother to Red Rock
Bulldog Rick has ALOT of that Keyes' Meathead, Smith's Red Rock blood. Extremely good dogs!
FWIW Back in the day you didnt whant to inbred on Tonka!. quality disapeard quick, very game tho!!. light line breeding of off him produced the best dogs, like in the Tonka Red baron famely and the Nelis rom famely, Both of witch at least to me produced the better dogs that caried the Tonka blood . we and others fooled around with dogs bred like this

This female was imported to South Africa, unfortunately she had problems and only produced 1 or 2 small litters.
