Fully loaded, try to go at least to the 16 foot length or even the 24 ft length. That is the total distance across the table end to end measurement.. On the 16 footer the center is at 8 foot and the 24 foot at 12 foot center. Your plywood sections are in even lengths and widths. Will work out nice and square before you cut it into a proper circle.
Do not put on any padding or carpet till you have the table properly cut, balanced, bearings well greased and adjusted. Has a proper footing or secure base support. You want the up and down bouncing kept too a very minimum. A Table that has too much play will injure the dogs shoulder, joints etc. You do need some padding but not to thick, helps absorb the downward shock of the dog's feet hitting the running surface. If Padding is too thick dog will roll it's feet and can create sprains in the first foot joints and ligaments.
As Maurice Carver once said it only cost a little more to go first class. Take your time and use the best materials. Cheers

I would add to use enough of the angle iron runners or square channel iron runners. So that all of the plywood lays on enough flat angle or square channel iron, to be properly bolted down. This helps remove any excessive vibration that could cause a excessive up and down bounce.
At the end of the angle iron when you square and weld them. You end up with a many sided type metal circle at the end. Could be a 12 to more little angles around the outer circle. Remember to allow the plywood to over lap the metal frame by at least 4 inches to six inches. So you can staple the Padding and Carpet underneath. Makes a soft safe edge if it strikes you while turning. Dog does not run there, but your knees or body will be close to it while it spins.
When a dog is running one of these tables. A lot of kinetic energy and movement of mass is taking place. Be careful and be safe, keep children and strangers away from it. Cheers
