I have respect for all the above. I owned Heavy-D. Many years ago I had Heavy-D, Caddillac II and Tazmanian Red on my yard at the same time. All respectable animals.

Tazmanian Red was my favorite without question. Heard nothing but good things about Syco.
Taz's mother is Boomer's mother's full sister and Taz is off of Hunter Red where Boomer is off a R.O.M. son of Hunter Red. Very Similar blood and The Boomer line also throws heavy mouth.

WC and I have combined both the Boomer dogs and Taz. Taz is tigter Redboy given that he is Boomer's mom bred to Deacon then the littermate, Hunter Red himself, but its the same family. That being said, I have tremendous respect for all that Pit Island has preserved, and give credit where it is due. I saw dogs off Taz in the early turn of the century that were as steadfast as any I've ever seen

WC and I kept a female and male from this litter: http://www.machobuck.com/Taz%20X%20Chilli%20Pepper.htm

I like the Red Boy dogs. From my experience, and not knocking how people do things, when it is all one strain of Red Boy from one breeder the performance and soundness fades. In that pedigree there are several strains. Bingo was Bingo but Deacon was Deacon. Richardson's Cream has some influx of others but brought back to the Red Boy family. The Apache and Medlin's Outlaw worked well going back to a string of Red Boy dogs.

A friend of mine says you can have too much of one person's Red Boy but you can never have too much of every one's Red Boy.

    Nice pedigree.

EWO...my sentiments as well, three others from the "HOUSE OF RED BOY" I always wanted to bring under my umbrella to compliment those already represented included:

Nice dogs to have in the pedigree.

I have a Red Boy/Eli cross female that for whatever reason she pulled Red Boy traits even through the crosses. She looks like Brandy Girl spit her out from way back when.

She is high drive, will stay all night, shows finish. She has above average to well above average mouth.

I also have a Heavy Mims Red Boy male to a Waccamaw female. This dog is as sweet a 13 month old puppy as any one has ever owned. Zero interest in other dogs, no signs on the chain whatsoever. So me being the dummy that I am was moving dogs and had one by the collar and went thru her chain space. She showed no signs until we were within striking distance. She went ape shit and hit that dog like she was grown. I got the dog out of the spot and like a light switch she went back to being the sweetest little puppy in the world. Those two strains of Red Boy are mixing very well.

Li Man (4XW) is another great example of the Mims Red Boy crossed to RBJ. Even when the Red Boys are crossed the different strains amp the ante.
