Which line is most known for throwing man biters?

These damn Boyle's dogs I have been seeing over the years don't fuck around! They will grab somebody in a heartbeat. I also had some Boudreaux stuff in the late 90's that was the same way.

Maybe it's something you're doing, because I've never had one of either line do that.

Imo you can get a bad apple off any tree.

I have basically RBJ/Jeep Rascal type dogs and on occasion I get a few who are a bit standoffish with strangers. Not man biters with the exception of one dog in many many years that will hit anything that moves with a fierce intensity. I've used a scalpel on the bitch to remove a fatty tumor and she kissed me on my cheek while doing it. She's a sweetheart unless you are another dog, human or object.

I did an out cross and got 2 bitches, sent one to the owner of the stud and she's a perfect mannered dog. They have a few dogs I'd call fear and insecure aggressive dogs. If I just walk on in their spot they are fine but the anticipation they just freak out over. The bitch I kept is a sweetheart to, BUT once you pour kibble in her bowl she protects it like it's a fresh kill. She doesn't bite but warns with loud growling and hovers her bowl like you are trying to steal it. I don't like it one bit. I've tried working with her but it's like 50 first dates, she does well then the next day it's back to square one.

I'd actually like opinions or advise about this...

Didn't mean to hijack the thread Wise.

Nothing I did actually the Boudreaux dog was like that when I got her at 6 months, never bit me or my family but put an instant barrier between us and the rest of the world! Never seen anything like it. As far as he Boyles dogs, I was bit by an old bitch with no teeth watering her spot! Bitch! Lol soon as I turned around to walk away no sound just grabbed me, sneaky. A couple of really good studs got put down for going after the wife of one guy, and hitting the end of a chain at a kid! From what i'm told they were dispatched short order, bred nice and throwing and going smh. I'll take one all day everyday long as it don't bite me and family.

I would never put a dog down for going after a kid, especially a dog that had never seen a kid.

Bandana was like that ... would flip-out seeing a kid, just didn't think they were human.

It is kinda dumb to attribute "human morality" to a freakin dog.

I would kill any dog that went after me, if it was mine and knew me already, but lots of dogs don't like strangers.

If I had a kid and bought a dog that flipped-out at kids, I would just give/sell the dog to someone with no kids, no need to kill the dog over it.

In my opinion, I think it's more of the dog as an individual and it's surroundings. Maybe if they had a shit load of people bitters in their lineage and on the same yard as them, they might be more prone to bite someone. My pup now, she's Jeep/RB/Rascal bred got her at 4 months, is very standoffish until she gets use to you. Who knows if she will bite someone or not, I don't "think" she would, but I still tell people if she wants to let you pet her she'll come up to you. Sometimes I wonder if she was mistreated the first few months before I received her, who knows. All in all I don't think it has to do much about the lines, but I'm no expert. Well said Jack, if I feed you everyday, you know me and one day you try to get at me......you're done buddy. I had a Rottweiler that was like the dog you're describing S_B, she was a nice dog but when she had her dish full, her fat ass would let you know she wasn't done eating. Not sure how to correct it, just keep working with her the best you can and hopefully the day will come that she doesn't care if you reach for it. Just my 2 cents

I leave all animals alone when they're eating, humans included. I know how I am about mine, why would a dog be any different?

Of all the dogs I've fed most of them would much rather have my attention over their kibble, not raw that's a different story. Maybe I'm over thinking it but it's unstable behavior imo like fear or anxiety. My dogs have never been aggressive towards me at all, quite the contrary. They are pleases and will gladly spit their kibble out for play time if given the opportunity.

It's not that I intentionally jack with her while she eats. She immediately stiffens up, clack her jaws and hovers over her bowl. She also got real stiff and flinchy when I handed her over to a friend once. She was very socialized as a pup being the loner after her sister went to the owner of the male.

    Anyway the feedback is appreciated.
