Adding/Changing
Breeder/Owner Names

From the Pedigree

When you’re changing a Breeder or Owner’s name via the Pedigree Display page, the procedure is the same for each, and it is easy as pie. After you click on the Breeder (or Owner’s) name you will see a simple Find Breeder search box:

In this case, the breeder I am looking for is myself (Vise-Grip Kennels), yet when I do the search all I have to type-in is “Vis” ... in other words you do NOT need to type-in the whole kennel name And, after I hit ‘Check’ I get the following display:

You will notice that I get every breeder with a “Vis” in his name. From here, all I have to do is select the right one and press “Submit”. Now, if the Breeder/Owner I wanted to add was not listed from a basic search, THEN I would type-in his/her FULL NAME and hit the Submit button.

Note: if it’s a human name you’re searching for, always begin the search with the last name (or part of the last name); if it’s a kennel name you’re searching for, always begin the search with the main name (or part of the main name).

Again, although in these examples, I only showed the Breeder being added/changed, the procedure is identical for the owner.

Thank you for taking the time to read these instructions IN FULL. Your doing so will not only save me time (by not forcing me to spell-out for you what is already covered here), but it will save you time as well, simply because you will be able to fully-understand and enjoy the full benefits of this Resource right from the get-go. I thank you sincerely for joining today, and if you have any questions not covered here, please post them on this thread. Thanks again!
