When you want to add a breeder to the database table, there are basically two ways to do it. The most direct way in which to do so is to first click on The Ultimate Pedigree Database Tab and then select the Add Breeder hyperlink from the Sub-Navigation menu:
After you click this hyperlink, you will then be taken to the Breeders Database Table:
There are only 4 sections to fill out, so adding a breeder should basically be self-explanatory: You just put in the breeders name, webpage (if applicable), email (if applicable), and select the proper country from the dropdown menu (if known). Most breeders are from the USA so this is the default setting. (As you can see, most people are not bothering to add anything but the breeders name, which limits some of the functionality of the Statistics pages were working on, but there appears to be no cure for human laziness.) The ways to navigate through this data table are every bit as straightforward: you can choose a letter of the alphabet and/or you can expand the table from 10 rows of names all the way up to 100 rows of names.
The other way in which to add/edit a breeder to the database is via the actual display page for each individual dog. For example, let us take a look at the pedigree of Patricks Red Baby ROM:
The white arrow on the left shows the link that will take you directly to the database table corresponding to the existing breeder ... while the white arrow on the right shows the link where you can change the breeder that is currently listed into a different breeder. (Do NOT do this for any other reason than if you know for 100% certainty that the current information is incorrect.) And that is essentially all there is to adding or editing breeders to the database :)
Thank you for taking the time to read these instructions IN FULL. Your doing so will not only save me time (by not forcing me to spell-out for you what is already covered here), but it will save you time as well, simply because you will be able to fully-understand and enjoy the full benefits of this Resource right from the get-go. I thank you sincerely for joining today, and if you have any questions not covered here, please post them on this thread. Thanks again!
