While it is only natural to want to start adding your dogs to the new database, before doing so please use the SEARCH feature FIRST to see if it is already in there! This will avoid any kind of duplicate entry. Duplicate data entry is the ruination of any database, whereas precision data entry is every database’s salvation, so make sure you are HELPING this community (not hurting it) by doing your part to make sure no duplicate dogs are entered.
