Thought this was worth posting, can't say I'm surprised.

FBI Used Drones to Investigate Dog Fighting, Drug Trafficking, But Mum on Other Flights
    Steve Neavling

The FBI uses controversial drone technology in the U.S. but has refused to identify how often agents deploy the unmanned planes.

Motherboard.com reports that the obscurity of the drone missions has irked privacy advocates.

But now, some of the missions have come to light thanks to documents obtained by MuckRock.

The FBI has used drones to investigate dog fighting operations and drug trafficking and to search for some of the bureau’s 10 most wanted fugitives.

Unfortunately for transparency advocates, the records don’t indicate details of a lot of other cases.
Common sense isn't so common these days.

    Freaking idiots.

Using the latest technology to look for pit bulls, or drugs, but not child porn or human trafficking ... utterly amazing how upside-down their priorities are

    I absolutely agree.

Somewhat connected....The worst gift my Dad ever received was a police type scanner from my sister. I hated that squawking box but for whatever reason he liked it. One night one police officer was giving directions to another and he said, " Go by the crack house on so and so street, turn left and go...." I was thinking if the Police Dept. knows a certain place is a crack house maybe they should shut it down vs. using it as a land marker.

The dogs are no different. EWO
