Best of 2000

As I was looking over a few post on here today I seen that jack talked about a group voting for best dog of the 90's so that got me to thinking who do you believe was the best of the 2000's. Clearly, these hounds should have lived in the years ranging from 2000-09. Let's see what you think and why? Look forward to hear what y'all think

Maybe the 2000 are to close to present time to talk bout so what about the 90's?

Okay, to get this going, and since we're talking about the 2000s, I will cast my (admittedly biased) votes Best Dogs of the 2000s:

• Black Ice's Ch Vengence (3xW)
• Battle's Ch Tulipa (4xW, 1xL BIS/GIS)
• Griddog's Ch Mr. Serious (3xW), POR, ROM

Ch Vengence beat what most people considered an unbeatable dog in Gamedog Inc.'s Ch Soldier ... and he killed him in :42 without getting a single hole in his skin return. Vengence then spotted Openhouse Kennels' Tito Trinidad 3 lb of weight, came from way back, to overcome a difficult start, eventually breaking Tito's windpipe and stopping him in the guts in 1:20. At his own best weight of 30 (and not trying to fight at 32-33), Ch Vengence was simply unbeatable—so much so that he was actually named in an article, "Best dogs I have ever seen" (in his life, not just the 2000s) by Lockdown Rudy, editor of Sratchback magazine.

Ch Tulipa was sired by Ch Vengence's brother Techno, and was an absolutely phenomenal bitch. Her first was into Mexican Legends Cardenas and Morfin, who were using a 2xW bitch (and full sister to a Grand Champion and Champion of theirs) who was going for her own Championship ... and Tulipa had to spot this bitch 3 lb of weight ... which she did, overcoming an early lead, and coming back to stop this bitch in 1:37 winning Best- and Gamest-In-Show on a 14-card international convention in Brazil. Ch Tulipa then went on to win 3 more times [in :31 (BIS), in :47 (BIS), and in :54 (overcoming a broken leg to win in GIS in :54)] ... all at 29lb and almost always spotting weight. Ch Tulipa finally met her match for #5 and was picked up in :42, and made a fantastic, falling-down scratch. This absolutely fantastic animal won either BIS or GIS (or both) in every match she ever had, and if she were a bigger animal (and never had to spot weight), there wouldn't be a bitch on earth who could touch her.

Ch Mr. Serious was just a badass match dog (game, rough, tough), but not a phenomenal dog. What makes Ch Mr. Serious deserve to be on this list was THE WHOLE PACKAGE that he was. He not only bit hard enough to have the broken, compound-comminuted-fractured shoulder bones exposed in one animal ... he not only was game enough to overcome a face-chewing for over 1:58 that crushed his muzzle and had him breathing out of his face ... and he not only was good enough so that Harry Hargrove walked passed his own yard of dogs to breed to Mr. Serious 3x after he lost to him ... but Ch Mr. Serious could also produce his ass off. From just a handful of breedings, Ch Mr. Serious produced Gr Ch Pocket Rocket (5xW), Gr Ch Ms. Serious (5xW), Ch Boy (4xW), and Ch Rodney Dangerfield (3xW). All from just a handful of breedings. In fact, no dog off Mr. Serious ever lost a match. Ever. And his daughter Gr Ch Ms Serious was good enough to reportedly collect a $6,000 forfeit from the owners of Ch Baby Gracie.
