Does anyone have any experience with Garners stock down from Clyde, Hickson, and GrCh Spikey? What common characteristics did you find?

Sort of, via a double-granddaughter of another son of Lever Red Sr., Sweet Gator: http://www.thepitbullbible.com/forum...hp?dog_id=7526

If you're going to add Spikey into the mix, you really need to consider the Rebel Yell/Rooster based stock too. I had the Spikey/Rooster stuff from Jethro. On average, deeply game and lots of talent. The reason I even had an interest in that blood is due to the same Coal Cat blood that is behind my stock. That is a very powerful and prepotent line of bitches down from Hollingsworth's Ruby. My stock still carries about 20% of the Coal Cat influence. Additionally, Powerhouse Kennels told me 25 years ago that the direct Lever Red stock he had was as top notch as anything else he was feeding, and he had a few CHs on the yard then. I highly recommend any Garner based dogs that pack a good punch of the Hollingsworth influence, you will get good dogs.

I had two really good dogs off of Rooster bred to my Gracie bitch. The male was very, very game and his sister was simply awesome. If I'd known then what I know now, I would have kept them all and made more breedings to Rooster.

I only made one breeding with my son of Rooster. Damn good dogs......I still have a great little female that is doing well out of it. I'm glad to know that others ended up with something off of Rooster.
