    Miniature bulldogs

I was thinking forward, to the future, thoughts on breeding a smaller bulldog. A bulldog 20 pounds, for a male, 15 for a bitch. I know this is sounds silly, but just think about it for a minute, simpler chain set up.
Smaller fences, and less feed.An off shoot, from modern size Bulldogs.
Never to take away from modern Bulldogs, just a smaller size. Keeping all bulldog attributes,
My best, I have thought about this for some time, and decided ,it was time to send it out
All thoughts are welcome.negative thoughts, please, my best

I've got a couple bitches less than 20, and a male less than 30. Problem from what I hear it is hard to find similar weights at that size compared to say a mid 30, 40 or 50 pound hog!

I prefer the mid / low 30's myself but as brickface says , any smaller and its hard to get work for them.

I think this is a bad idea and the side effects will show immediately, any time breeding for size color structure all that becomes priority we are no longer breeding bulldogs. The American pitbul terrier is breed for gameness first thentry ability then temperament I don't know in that order but never for looks

With time and patience, and connection to the network, example, looking for a true bulldog, of smaller size. Bred to a smaller bitch, well bred ,with all proper bulldog traits, and so on. one could produce a smaller bulldog with bulldog traits,
And keep the true heart trait. A smaller bulldog with all the traits of a larger dog could be produced. My best

Your looking at 50 years of breeding at least and u gonna need some expert advise it's not so easy breeding good to great and back to a distant relative keeping them all and good will be difficult. It's hard to tell what u gonna get with these guys even after 13 years I get small batches throwing 55 60 pound dogs
