Corneal dermoid

Got a birth defect on a pup. Anyone got experience with this? It doesn't bother her nor does it appear to cause any irritation. No discharge no build up of eye booggers. I did some research online but really couldn't find out alot about it but it seems its not heritatary. Any info or experience would help thank in advance

I got it diagnosed sat at the vet but she gave me a number to an optical surgeon up in the city I got to call them tomorrow. She warned me it would probably be well over a grand to get removed. Im just gonna ride it out. If it causes problems later, ill decide on what to do with her. If it doesn't cause problems then she's just gonna get to live like the rest of them. So far I haven't seen any info on it being heritatary.
