If you have a bitch in season 7 days before a show, does that take an affect on them in the show, if so what are the effects?

This greatly depends on the bitch as an individual. It is best to know how she works before, during and after a heat cycle. That way there will be no surprises!

Bitches are a little more work than males imo, but so worth it if you are able to put the time in.

Bitches are nasty. They can get nastier or even let up a little. All really depends on that particular dog.

Forfeit the show. Trust me this is not a black or white answer. Or go ahead like the restbof the "new dog men" hack her out and in 25 or 30 years when your thinking about all the best dogs you have had that you ruined or lost a show you should have won. She might give you a memory.
